Non-carb-conscious but an amazingly yum indulgent side dish on a warm night.
Salad:
1kg gnocchi
1 tin artichoke hearts (cut in half)
1/2 cup semi dried tomatoes (cut in half)
1 cup pitted kalamata olives
1/4 cup fresh basil (shredded)
Dressing:
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic (Crushed)
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp sugar
Cook the gnocchi as per directions on pack. When drained, lay out gnocchi on a dry clean teatowel (try to keep separate as they’re sticky) until cool.
Put the cooled gnocchi, artichoke, tomatoes, olives and basil in a serving bowl and roughly mix.
In a separate bowl, mix the dressing ingredients and then pour over gnocchi salad mix. Toss the salad until dressing has mixed in.
IT IS DELICIOUS!

OK - I will blog my progress and diet and exercise from Jan 3rd - Nov 3rd (the big day)
Wish me luck… I have a feeling I’m going to need it.
Here’s the thing.
I like The Office way too much for it to be healthy. I have seen every season more than 5 times. I know all the words. I’m fairly certain 1/3 of what my best friend and I say to each other is The Office dialogue…
Now, my all-time hands-down know-every-line favourite TV show in the world is dying and all I can do it sit by and watch it painfully deteriorate while my heart cries in pain. Yes, that bad. This all happened when Steve Carrell decided he had had enough of being the worlds funniest character and quit the show leaving everyone with little hope of it ever being the same.
WELL GUESS WHAT… No one was in the league of Michael Scott. NO ONE, YOU HEAR ME?! Script is less funny, characters are less funny, hell, there is nothing going on in the storyline which even suggests comedy. I hope they stop. I really, really do. Seasons 1-7 I will love you forever.
Season 8 - you can go suck it.
